At Rocky Branch Baptist Church, we think membership matters! Membership gives folks a chance to become part of a local body of Believers and experience the true sense of being connected to others. After all, the Bible clarifies that the church is the “Body of Christ”, not a building made of bricks and mortar.
Becoming a member of Rocky Branch Baptist Church is not complicated but we seek to make sure each person who joins understands the Gospel and has made a genuine commitment to Jesus by placing their faith in him as their personal Lord and Savior.
People are invited to join our church in one of three ways:
- By transference of letter (for those who are currently a member of a sister Baptist church we will contact that church for a letter of commendation stating that you wish to transfer your membership to Rocky Branch Baptist church).
- By statement of faith (for those who have not been a member of a Baptist church or for those who were members of the Baptist church but the possibility of acquiring a letter of transfer no longer exists. A statement of faith includes sharing your salvation and baptism experience with a Rocky Branch Baptist church staff member).
