Susan is a wife to David, mom to 4 grown children—her youngest a Junior at the University of Arkansas—and 2 grandchildren. She grew up in Smithville, Missouri and later graduated from William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri. After a year at Southern seminary in Louisville, Kentucky, she moved to Massachusetts to marry her husband David of now 32 years. Her graduate work was completed at Boston University with a major in Vocal Music Performance.  Before moving to Arkansas in 2020, Susan had lead worship for over 20 years in the New England area. She served as Director of Worship at Immanuel Church in Chelmsford, MA for several years, guest speaker for women’s events across New England, Choral Director and a Bible teacher.  For 10 years she worked as a Voice, Piano and Drama instructor at Apple Tree Arts and for 13 years at Whitinsville Christian School in MA. Susan is excited to serve as Co-Director of Worship, along side with Gayle Rackley, at Rocky Branch Baptist Church and about getting to experience all that God is doing here! Susan states that the music ministry is a particular blessing!
