PRAISE & WORSHIP
Each of our worship services begins with songs of praise and adoration! It is our joy to glorify the name of JESUS!
Psalms 100 (selected verses)
Worship the Lord with joyful songs. It is he that made us and we are his… enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise, give thanks to him and praise his name.
THE WORD
Prominent in every worship service is preaching from the Bible, the inspired revelation of God.
2 Timothy 3:15
All Scripture is God breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.
PRAYER
Seeking God’s power, blessing, provision and forgiveness is an important part of our worship services. If you have a need we want to join you in seeking God in prayer. Our pastor, staff or others in the church will gladly pray with you at the end of this service.
James 6:16
Therefore, confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.
THE LORD'S SUPPER/COMMUNION
Once per quarter, during worship, we recognize the ordinance of the Lord’s Supper, or Communion. Jesus established this ordinance to be a continual reminder of his great sacrifice.
After sincere self-examination any baptized believer is welcome to partake.
1 Corinthians 11:24-25
and when Jesus had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.” In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, do in remembrance of me.”
